About 8 year ago i did my first steps into dj-ing. At first i played Club House (Mellow). But then a friend of mine (Jay) introduced me to the world of Trance at club Mazzo in Amsterdam. Dj's Zen and Lucas were playing there at Fridays and Sundays, and they where the pioneers who brought psy to Holland. It was love at first sight. I really loved the friendly people, the positive vibes, the fluo-colors and (off course) the psychedelic tunes! At that time I was still a bedroom-dj, making mix-tapes for friends. After about a year Psytrance died a druggy death in Amsterdam and I swapped over to D&B and Lounge.
My love for Psy music came back during the Eclipse in 1999. A friend of mine showed me a flyer of a Psy festival in the ardens in Belgium. The combination of a eclipse and psy music was magical, and I learned that psy music was mend to play outdoors!
After this festival I came back to Belgium to visit more of these (mostly outdoors) parties. A year later I was playing myself on one of these parties (PLUR 1), organized by Joske (a.k.a. Anoebis). Later on he became one of the most populair full-on Dj's in the Belgian scene. I also played at the first Senseblender festival (with Logic Bomb and Infected Mushroom), at the Psynews Summer Launch (with Psyside, Toidoi and Roopak), at the Rhaki Dei festival (with Fractal Glider, Rastaliens, Miranda, etc.) and many more smaller underground parties. After two years of Dj-ing in Belgium I came in contact with Psylover from Leiden (my home-town!). He and two friends (known as Cosmic Combination) were organizing parties in Bar en Boos, a small squad in the centre of Leiden.
After playing here I found out that the scene never died. Leiden was booming and I Joined the Cosmic Combination! I have also been asked to play for Suntrip Records, a Belgian Psytrance label believing in the old-skool melodies, a style I still like a lot! Nowadays we throw parties in Leiden and surroundings, mostly medium sized parties and once in a while big gigs with a live act! We had parties with Protoculture and Triptych, and aiming for more!
I'm currently quite busy organising these parties and producing trance-music myself, so not dj'ing a lot! Though I'll fancy to play at more parties, just not enough time to promote myself. Hopefully this site will help me doing this! ![]()
I like to play at night, prefer the deep melodic tracks. Firm basslines, happy (sometimes wicked) stories, crystal clear with dirty grooves. Most Israelian stuff, but Swedish, British, German, French, South-Afrikan as well. Some names: Infected Mushroom (remixes), Cosmosis (old & new-skool), Wizzy Noise, Psysex, Ananda Shake, Protoculture, Vibe Tribe, and many, many, many more! ![]()
I won't do a current track top-10 because it will be different every day... so a kinda all-times-old-skool-top-10!
